Rehab Medical, Inc., a national Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) company, announced it acquired Family Medical Supply in Oklahoma on Nov. 1, 2018. The acquisition expands Rehab Medical’s footprint from 13 to 14 states, allowing it to provide personalized solutions to complex situations in a previously untapped market.
“Rehab Medical is excited to expand into the state of Oklahoma,” Rehab Medical President Kevin Gearheart said. “Family Medical Supply is a well respected business in Oklahoma that shares a number of our same values with a strong emphasis on improving the lives of those we serve.”
Rehab Medical operates in 22 major metro markets, working directly with medical professionals and insurance providers from prescription to delivery on products such as complex and pediatric rehab equipment, standard mobility equipment, and wound care products. Earlier this year the company was named one of Indianapolis’ Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies by the Indianapolis Business Journal.
Family Medical Supply, which has been in business for more than 30 years, currently operates two locations based in Oklahoma City and Kingston. 21 employees, including two Assistive Technology Professionals, will join Rehab Medical’s team.
Both companies have built their reputation on exceptional customer service. In April, Rehab Medical received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for its customer service.
“We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer experience with the fastest overall turnaround time in the industry,” Gearheart said. ‘We will bring our resources and expertise to Oklahoma and expand on what Family Medical Supply has built.”
