Rehab Medical, Inc., a national Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) company, expanded to San Antonio, Texas after acquiring Wheelchairs Plus, a CRT company. Established in 1982, Wheelchairs Plus enhances the patient’s mobility through provisions of custom rehabilitation equipment, home medical equipment, and disposable medical supplies.

All Wheelchairs Plus sales representatives, assistive technology professionals (ATPs), service technicians, and staff members will transition to the Rehab Medical team. To lead all sales efforts during this transition, Rehab Medical will transition its Salt Lake City ATP to the San Antonio location.
This is Rehab Medical’s latest acquisition. Earlier this year, Mobility Specialists of Winter Haven, Fla. was acquired to expand mobility services throughout Central Florida in an effort to provide more mobility options to those in need. Rehab Medical now has a total of 24 locations nationwide.
