Each year Rehab Medical partners with organizations in the community who share in our mission to improve lives. For the last few years, we’ve been especially proud to support the Tatum Parker Project — a non-profit organization founded to put smiles on the faces of pediatric cancer patients.
Since the age of six, Tatum Parker Project founder Tatum has struggled to become a cancer free patient. But after turning nine in September of 2009, she was finally diagnoses as cancer-free. Starting the Tatum Parker project became a personal mission of Tatum’s as she wanted to give back to the children who faced a similar fate as she did.
When Tatum was first diagnosed, she received a Bag of Fun from the Gabby Krause Foundation in Colorado. She was so inspired by this generosity that she decided to bring the Bags of Fun to Indiana. Since August of 2008, Tatum has delivered nearly 3,000 Bags of Fun to Indiana children.
The Rehab Medical team is excited to partner with such a compassionate organization and help them continue to provide Bags of Fun to children in need.
